One line (72 characters)
Sort the trains, clear the yard. A puzzle railway with no timer and no lives.
Short (about 50 words)
Railyard is a sliding-puzzle railway. Tap a train and it rolls until something stops it; clear the yard by sending every train to a siding that matches it. There is no timer and no lives, every board is solvable from wherever you have got to, and every level is designed by hand.
Long (about 120 words)
Railyard is a puzzle game about a marshalling yard that is too full. Tap a train and it rolls along its track until something stops it — another train, a buffer, the edge of the yard. Clear the board by routing every train to a siding in its own livery, through points that set the road ahead, turntables that spin a whole train, and hazards that have to be cleared rather than avoided.
What it will not do is hurry you. There is no timer, no lives and no energy meter; a board waits exactly as long as you want it to, and no move you can make is irreversible. Levels are authored one at a time rather than generated, and a fresh yard is built from the date every morning.
In bullet form
- One tap, one train. Nothing moves unless you move it.
- No timer, no lives, no energy. Nothing counts down and nothing locks you out.
- Always solvable. Not just from the start — from whatever state you have left the board in.
- Hand-authored levels, each one designed and tested rather than generated.
- A journey map where cleared yards stay open and each one carries a grade of one to three tickets.
- A fresh daily yard, built from the date, the same for everyone.
- Points, turntables, landslides, wrecks and a crane introduced one at a time as the line goes on.
- No account, and no internet needed to play.

About Railyard Games
Railyard Games is an independent, one-person studio. It makes small puzzle games for phones, designed around ten quiet minutes rather than a daily obligation — no energy meters, no countdown clocks, and no puzzle that cannot be solved from the state you left it in.
