These terms apply to every Railyard Games app and to this website. Installing or using an app means you accept them. If you do not, do not install it — and if you already have, delete it.
1. Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and play our apps on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. We keep ownership of the apps themselves: the code, the artwork, the level designs, the music, and the names. Nothing here transfers any of that to you.
Where you obtained an app from the App Store or Google Play, that store's own terms also apply. Where their terms and ours conflict about the licence to the app itself, theirs prevail.
2. What you may not do
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify an app, except to the extent the law gives you a right we cannot exclude.
- Redistribute, resell, rent, or sublicense an app, or publish a modified version.
- Use cheats, automation, or modified clients to obtain purchased content without paying for it, or repeatedly buy and refund items to keep them for free.
- Interfere with our services, or try to reach parts of them not meant for you.
3. Purchases
Some apps sell things inside the game: one-off unlocks such as removing ads, items that are used up such as hints or boosters, and possibly subscriptions. All payments are taken by Apple or Google under their terms, and we cannot charge, refund, or reverse a payment ourselves.
- What you buy is a licence to use content inside the app, not property you own. It is tied to the store account that bought it, and it has no cash value outside the game. It cannot be exchanged for money, or sold or traded to anyone else.
- One-off unlocks do not expire while the app remains available. Use Restore purchases in the app to get them back on a new device signed in to the same store account.
- Items that are used up are gone once used, and are stored on your device unless the app saves progress for you. Deleting the app without that may lose any you have not used.
- Subscriptions, if offered, show their price, length, and what they include before you pay. They renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends, in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; what you have already paid for lasts until the end of the period. Any free trial is shown before you start it, and converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled in time.
- Rewards from optional video ads, and items we give away, are free extras with no cash value, and we may change how they work.
- Refunds follow the store's policy. Our support page explains how to ask for one, and we will help if the app was at fault. If a refund is granted, what it paid for may be removed again.
- Prices may change. A change never affects something you have already bought.
- Nothing here takes away a right to cancel or a refund that the law where you live gives you.
4. Advertising and notifications
Apps may show ads supplied by third-party networks. We do not choose individual ads and are not responsible for their content or for anything you buy from an advertiser. Our privacy policy explains what those networks receive and how to limit it.
With your permission, an app may send notifications about the game, such as a new daily puzzle or an update. You can turn them off at any time in your device's settings.
5. Changes to the apps
We may update, change, or stop supporting an app or any of its features. We will not remove something you have paid for while the app is still on sale, and if an app is withdrawn we will say so rather than let it rot silently.
6. No warranty, and the limits of our liability
Our apps are provided as they are. We do not promise that an app will be free of bugs, will run on every device, or will always be available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, or lost profits. Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim, or ten US dollars.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any statutory consumer rights you have where you live. If you are a consumer, those rights stand alongside these terms.
7. Ending the licence
You may stop at any time by deleting the app. We may end your licence if you materially break these terms — and if we do, we will tell you why.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of your own country's mandatory consumer law, or of the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and a significant change will be announced in the app. Continuing to use an app after that means the new terms apply.
